Suno Sasurjee is an upcoming Bengali film written and directed by Pijush Saha. The movie stars Abir Chatterjee, Bidisha Bose, Saurabh Chakraborty and Soumitra Chatterji in the lead roles. The film has music composed by Deepak Manna and Mahendra Kumar Tikku. It is scheduled to release on October 8th, 2019 in Kolkata exclusively at SECC cinema -Esplanade. The movie revolves around three friends living together in their small apartment with nothing to do but watch television all day except for the occasional game of chess they play each night which leads them nowhere towards any further success or achievement during their short-lived game. They are all three unemployed since the recent economic recession is now at its peak. Their time is spent in their apartment playing board games, watching movies and television shows together, spending long hours on the internet chatting with girls/couples they chat with on social media apps. One day, Suno happens to see a beautiful girl who works as a waitress at his favorite restaurant where he regularly eats lunch. The girl takes an immediate liking to Suno who doesn't pay much attention to her but enjoys making her laugh by pulling her leg for nothing which embarrasses her harshly every now and then. As expected, this beautiful girl is none other than Kajol who works at the same restaurant. He takes an immediate attraction to her and feels the need to make her acquaintance with his three friends. But Suno doesn't like talking to girls directly and he only communicates through friends on their group chat on Facebook instead of making direct contact with her. They eventually start meeting at their apartment after Kajol routinely visits the apartment of their friends whenever she is working there for a brief while after seeing how close all three of them are on Facebook. The three friends also arrange for her to visit them once in a while through their mutual friend where they live in one of the apartments within the complex. Their life goes on like this for a while until one day they get into trouble with some cops who keeps an eye on their apartment complex due to some illegal activities that has been going on there for quite some time. And thus, the movie ends with Suno's friend leaving the apartment complex later that night to avoid any further trouble with the cops. His other friend carries him along on his bicycle till he carries him no more. Then finally, Suno is left all alone in his apartment to mourn over being abandoned by his two friends without any money on him. As he sits very quietly and lets his mind wander and think, he is suddenly bombarded by memories of earlier days when they were all good friends living together in the same apartment. He then goes to sleep that night with a heavy heart. The film was shot in Kolkata over a period of about two months within the span of time between November 2018 and December 2018. The film's soundtrack has been scored by Deepak Manna and Mahendra Kumar Tikku with lyrics written by Pijush Saha and Deepak Manna .
